About Jack and Jill Online Website Hosting

Jack and Jill Online is a web hosting service owned and operated by Charsoft Consulting, Inc.  We designed the website of the National Organization , and we have created an easy way for the chapters to get on the web quickly and easily! It is important to note that, while we are not a subsidiary of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., we do have their approval to offer this service to all chapters who require it.

The president of Charsoft Consulting is Charlene Banks, a Jack and Jill mom since 2001.  Here are a few words from Charlene:

"As the administrator and developer, I have been envisioning the automation of the chapters of Jack and Jill ever since I became a member in 2001.  Loudoun County, VA was just starting up, and one of my good friends at the time nominated me for membership.  Since I create websites and write software, the job of website creation and administration fell to me. 

As I sat in each meeting and learned how the organization worked, I constantly thought of ways in which technology could help us to streamline our duties.  The sheer amount of paper and repetitive data gathering was what drove me to create a solution that would allow us to work smarter, not harder.

For Jack and Jill is a volunteer, membership-based organization with members who are accepted by invitation only.  We are focused on making life better for our children and the surrounding community.  But many times, we are bogged down in the mundane details of running an organization. Sometimes we end up using so much of our time and energy on the adnimistrative process there is not much left for our children.

I intend to change all that! With a few simple online tools, we will be able to function in a more streamlined way.  This will free us up to spend more time with our families.  Isn't that what we really want?
