Note: we are getting a lot of questions that are better targeted toward the National Organization.(www.jack-and-jill.org) We are independent of National, and have no information about how to become a member. We are here simply to provide websites to an existing chapter.
Calendars

Your chapter is full of activities... some are chapter-wide and some are age-group dependent. Some are meetings and some are teleconferences.  With our website hosting solution, you can manage the calendars separately and then view them all in the same place.

Membership Management - *Premium Feature

Each member can view her dashboard, which has the following details:

-  My Obligations - At a glance - member can view all the obligations for the chapter, and whether they have been met

-  My Children - The list of the member's children

-  My Calendar -The list of all calendar events that the member is signed up for

-  My Hosted Events - The list of all events that the member is signed up to host

-  My Groups - The list of all the committees and age groups that the member is a part of

-  My Financials - The list of all the financial obligations that are outstanding for the member

Jack and Jill Websites

If your chapter needs a place to upload shared documents, keep a central calendar, and share members-only information, then you need a Jack and Jill Website!

It's like having an Online Program Book

 

Benefits:

  • No experience necessary.  If you know how to use a word processing program (like Microsoft Word), then you can manage your site content.
  • No software required.  The website is stored safely on our servers.  All you need is a web browser and the right credentials to update your site content.
  • No waiting around.  With other web site solutions, you have to have a "web master" who is in charge of all updates.  That creates a single point of failure, and doesn't really spread the workload among your chapter members.

Features:

Your chapter website will be visible to the outside world, and that's great for publicity.   Our Basic Website plan will get your chapter online, with a great look-and-feel.  You will have an online presence, and that's a great place to start.

However, there is some content that you don't want to advertise... such as children's names and addresses and other sensitive information.  Our Jack and Jill Standard and Premium website plans  feature two separate areas: Public and Private.  Here is an example of how your website pages may be organized:
