Welcome to the new Web Hosting portal for Jack and Jill chapters.  As the administrator and developer, I have been envisioning the automation of the chapters of Jack and Jill ever since I became a member 5 years ago.  Loudoun County, VA was just starting up, and one of my good friends at the time nominated me for membership, and then for the website administration. 

I created some rudimentary tools back then, but the technology wasn't anywhere near where it is today, and the sheer number of hours it took to create a basic portal was very daunting indeed!  Today, there are tools that automate the portal process, allowing busy professionals to focus on content.  That's a huge step, and I intend to take it a step further for Jack and Jill chapters.

For Jack and Jill is a volunteer, membership-based organization with members who are accepted by invitation only.  We are focused on making life better for our children and the surrounding community.  But many times, we are bogged down in the mundane details of running an organization. Sometimes we end up using so much of our time and energy on the adnimistrative process there is not much left for our children.

I intend to change all that! With a few simple online tools, we will be able to function in a more streamlined way.  This will free us up to spend more time with our families.  Isn't that what we really want?
